When is detroit fire department hiring

Working for the department showed me that anything that I apply myself to I can achieve. Being a firefighter there really was no normal day of work because you never knew what was going to be the next call until the alarm went off for our services.

I learned that its much better to stay open minded because you may have do something that you have never done before and its best to be willing to adjust than to be in the way.

Working in the engine house that I was stationed at management could have been a lot more involved as far as expressing the way things are done and how day to day working goes. Also management could have been more assertive as far as keeping the new coming firefighters on a more direct path of working and making sure that work is done correctly. Workplace culture me personally I don't agree with it, it seems to take away from actually teaching about the job versus trying to get any new worker on board wit the way things have been for the previous years.

Working there showed me that my work ethic has improved over the course of my window of being employed. Being a firefighter makes you stay aware of almost everything that is going on around you.
