The challange is that they are traveling most of the time and have huge data as offline. If i remove teh older map and create another share with new server then it takes lot of time to configure the folder for offline access.
Does anyone help be with teh best solution to handle the situation. I want to have less user impact. Right now because of this issue my migration is on hold. In this case you can add the new server to domain and configure it as required without removing the old server. Then you can alter the offline mapped folders settings to use the new server share name.
Test this on few users first to ensure it works and then move all the users to the new share on new machine. Try to do some testing before you do the full migration.

My issue is completely different, in that i never want offline files to trigger because i am on LAN and trying to set a minimum ping required isnt working. So i am having a 52ms ping knock my win10 clients offline.
EDIT: Incidentally, there is a button to force it online. The work offline button is a toggle under there. I am using that as a work around right now. Its on the home tab.
